A 50% prepayment of the total rate of accommodation including Half Board (Full Board during the Holiday period) and VAT is required to secure your reservation. Once the booking has been processed, you will receive a reservation confirmation email that outlines a summary of your booking. Please review the information carefully.
If you have any questions or require any changes, please do not hesitate to contact us. This email will also include important information that we urge you to read to ensure your travel to Lou Moon Lodge is issue free.
The remaining balance of your total room cost including Half Board (Full Board during the Holiday period) and VAT is due on check in at the Lodge. Checks/Cheques are also accepted at Lou Moon so far as it is issued from a Ghanaian Bank.
Alternatively you may pay your hotel room balance via bank wire transfer prior to your arrival. Please contact us at email@example.com if you would like us to send you bank account details and wire transfer instructions. Prepayments should be done within 5 days after confirmation to secure bookings. Please ensure you confirm your payment with us via email.
In the event of default or delay in prepayment Lou Moon Lodge has the right to cancel your booking with 12 hours advanced notice if the need arises.
Standard check-in time is 2:00 PM and standard check-out time is 12:00 PM. Early Check-in or late Check-out may be requested prior to arrival or from the Reception, subject to availability.
Lou Moon is a TV free environment.
Cancellations made 30 days before check-in date will be charged 25% (Mon-Thur), 50% (Fri-Sat-Sun and Holidays) of the room rate + board.
Cancellations made 15 days before check-in date will be charged 50% (Mon-Thur), 100% (Fri-Sat-Sun and Holidays) of the room rate + board.
Cancellations made less than 8 days before check-in date will be charged 100% of the room rate + board in any case.
Deposits are not refundable under any circumstances.
Deposits are transferable only if the cancellation is covered by a new booking for the same period; in this case 25% of the total booking amount will be deducted as administrative compensation.
Airline cancellations, rain and bad weather cannot be invoked as a reason for cancellation.
Cancellations are only accepted in writing by email.
The room must be freed by midday. Please advise reception so that your luggage can be collected. If your flight departs in the afternoon, you can keep your room subject to availability. Otherwise, you can leave your luggage at reception and use the outdoor shower before departure.
Tipping: A common box is provided for at reception. Thank you on behalf of the team.
Transfer: We can organise your transfer, please contact reception. The airport is about 1 hour drive.
